Very soon you can the latest game FLIP on your iPhone/iPod Touch. It comes in three different modes like Standard, Puzzle and Speed. The Standard mode of this game is similar to the other games like Bejeweled and Columns where you have to collect gems by matching the same-colored ones as vertically or horizontally. There are few features of the game which take the full advantage of the motion sensors and touch screen. Cutting the Flab 01/12/2009

As people get ready to return to work after two weeks of holiday festivities, it seems fitting to turn our attention to a pair of business and productivity iPhone and iPod touch apps that have debuted in the App Store recently. First up is Instaviz, a graph sketching program from Pixelglow Software. The $10 application takes any rough sketches you’ve drawn on the screen of your iPhone or iPod touch and transforms them into neatly drawn ellipses, circles, rectangles, squares, and other shapes.
If you add a line between two shapes, the app redraws your graph accordingly. Meanwhile, iMNotes from RERLSoft promises over-the-air access to sticky notes for Microsoft Exchange users. The $4 app lets you create, edit, view, and search Outlook sticky notes in real-time. You can also create a note on your iPhone or iPod touch and watch it appear on Outlook.

Its an iPod case 01/12/2009

Besides other things, the iPod has come to represent mobile music; if you’re looking for portable speakers, then, what better than iPod-shaped ones?  Jordan Horwich put together a pair of individually-amplified stereo speakers using two original iPod casings: inside each there’s a 2.25-inch speaker cone, volume control, Altoids Tin Speaker amp and DIY battery holder.
While it might seem straightforward, there isn’t a huge amount of room in even the chunky early-generation iPod cases.  Squeezing in the components required more than a little Dremeling and some compromises in parts.  If you fancy trying it yourself, but haven’t got two iPod casings lying around, factor in their not-inconsiderable cost, too; Jordan paid $100 for his.

A Big Pod 01/04/2009

We might very soon have iPods with really big displays. While Tec Crunch’s sources claim to have actually handled one of the iPod prototypes with big screens, and Apple is talking with manufacturers in Asia about mass production of the device, according to the report. Certainly at that size, the device would be more of a tablet than an iPod, and tablet rumors have been floating around Apple for years. There was a fury of speculation in August after a number of Mac sites pointed to a U.S. patent application granted for what would appeared to be the mythical Mac tablet. Apple Insider published a description of the device discussed in the application, which appears to bring a lot of the iPhones multitouch functionality to a slate-like tablet computer.

Earlier this year, CEO Steve Jobs implied Apple was watching small-device categories like tablets and Notebooks to see if they actually take off as a mega-trend. But Jobs has also quickly shot down talk of an Apple-produced competitor to Amazon's Kindle, which has been interpreted as a sign Apple was doing just that.

Now, there are those of you who love Sushi. Would you like it if tell you that there’s a new iPhone App titled ‘The Sushi Encyclopedia’, which will be put out by the Japanese publishing house Shogakukan. The initial offering will give us 82 descriptions of different types of sushi, complete with pictures. 82 doesn’t seem like a whole lot to me, especially for an encyclopedia .The sad bit is that the first edition will be available in Japanese only. The English version should be soon to follow. I’d also look for frequent updates to the app to provide more types of sushi, pictures, even locations of sushi restaurants worldwide… That could be helpful.

The Sushi Encyclopedia would sell for around $5 USD. Stay tuned for this one, it’s coming soon. There are already 2 apps in the App Store dealing with Sushi. The first is Sushi City. It’s a game where you have to serve up sushi as fast as you can to waiting customers. You can pick it up for $0.99 in the App Store.
